Rigato

DIn Italian, "RIGATO" describes a surface marked by parallel grooves, a simple gesture that becomes identity. The base is carved into a sequence of vertical lines, a continuous rhythm that captures light and shadow throughout the day. The grooves soften the solidity of the volume, while the rounded base gently lifts the structure from the floor, giving the piece a sense of balance and calm presence rather than weight. Above, the marble top echoes the same language: its underside edge is delicately curved to meet the base in a seamless dialogue between stone and wood.
